Hello All,

Hope you had a great Easter! Our Easter was great and the kids received gifts from the Easter Bunny too!!! I had no idea that Easter was a mini Christmas...hee hee. The kids received toys, clothes and TOO much candy! We got together at with family for Easter dinner and had a good time like always. Lots of good food, family and friends always equals a good time in my book! I just didn't want to go to work the next day...ugh! The holiday was too short. Here are a few pictures from Easter...enjoy! You will notice that Jayden is missing from the pictures. He was with his mom for Easter this year so we missed out celebrating w/ him. I'm sure he had plenty of fun, food and CANDY with his mom too!!

Well summer is around the corner so hopefully I'll be taking lots of fun pictures to post soon. Come on summer BBQ's, 4th of July, Beach pictures, Jayden's 4th birthday...yahooo!!! More fun to come.

Thomas the Train

Hi All!!

I have been really lagging w/ keeping my blog updated....ugghh! No good reason; just haven't been keeping it updated as much as I would like.

The boys are doing great and are still funny as all get out! Kainoa has started going to preschool one day a week for a couple of hours. Baby steps...haa haa. I'm just not quite ready to put him in school full time but I do know that he needs to interact w/ other kids besides brother. For the short time that Kainoa is in school he LOVES it and he even brings his projects home to put on the refrigerator w/ Jayden's art work. Too cute! There's still plenty of time before Kainoa has to be in school so for the time being I'm good w/ just a couple of hours per week. Not to mention that grandma and grandpa would go through withdrawls if Kainoa was in school all day long.

So on Saturday we took the kids to see Thomas the Train at the San Diego Sports Arena. The boys LOVED it!!! It was so cute because when the kids saw Thomas and friends they started screaming "Hi Thomas!!"...it was pretty cute! The show lasted a little less then 2 hours but plenty long enough for toddlers! They had a blast and I'm so glad that we had a chance to take the kids. I've attached a few pictures of our show. Enjoy!

Oh there are a couple of pictures of the kids napping in their Halloween costumes. I know the pictures seem all too familiar as they wear them ALL the time! It was a Kodak moment that I just couldn't pass up. Apparently superheroes need naps too...hee hee!

I hope to keep this updated more often then every few months. I'm sure there will be more pictures soon as the Easter Bunny is dying his eggs as we speak, so holiday pictures are soon to come. Hope everyone is doing great and have a wonderful week!!

Hi All,

I haven't posted a blog in a while so I figured I should catch everyone up. Well lets see all of the Holidays just passed and Kainoa just celebrated his 3rd birthday. Seems like just yesterday that my little peanut was born. I remember the day so vividly when I woke up in a panic and had to be rushed to the hospital for an emergency c-section! Although he was 2 months early he was a healthy weight/length. He was born weigh 5 pounds and he was 17 inches long. Had I went full term I would have given birth to a toddler...haa haa! Because he was born so early his lungs were a little under developed so he was in the NICU for a little over a month. Now he's growing like it's going out of style. Kainoa had his 3 year check up and he is for sure growing like a weed! His current stats are: 41 inches tall and 42 pounds. He's in the 98 percentile for his age. The doctor confirmed what I already knew and he said that Kainoa is going to be very tall!! But considering Mike's height I knew he was going to be tall too. I know that Kainoa and Jayden are going to eat us out of house and home as they become teenages...eeeekk. We're going to have to get 2nd jobs to feed and clothe the boys...haa haa.

We didn't have a big party for Kainoa, instead we just had a small family get together w/ a cake that Grandma made...yummy! Let me back up- before Kainoa's birthday we celebrated Christmas. Let me tell you the kids received every toy under the sun so Santa was good to them this year! Because the kids received so much for the holidays Kainoa didn't really need any more toys then what he had already received. He did get a few things but for the most part he was still excited w/ all of the toys he had received for Christmas.

We took the kids on a Coaster ride to the beach. We went with Mike, Alicia & their kids, Christian, Arla & their kids and then Mike and I and the boys. It was a lot of fun and the boys really thought we were riding Thomas The Train. For those of you that don't know he's a Train that's pretty popular with 3 year olds. So I told the kids that we were riding Thomas' cousin "The Coaster". We rode it all the way to the beach and then we walked the strand and the pier. You would have never known that it was "winter" since it was 80 degrees outside. Nothing like a winter in Oceanside.

We also had another historic moment in the Davis house and that was the Presidential Inauguration. It was history in the making and it was great to share that moment- it was also great to know that when the kids get older we can tell them all about it. Every time Kainoa saw Barack on TV he would say "go Obama!"...it was pretty cute!

Well I'm going to take the easy way out so instead of posting pictures here's the link to pictures from Kainoa's 3rd birthday and our trip to the beach on the Coaster. Enjoy!
