Well I finally joined the blogging world thanks to my friend Kristin. I actually have a lot of friends that blog but I was always at a loss of what I could share that anyone would even remotely be interested in. But I figure for those of you who are interested in peeking in the window to my world here you go...
As everyone knows fall has arrived, although it's hard to tell by all the hot weather we have been having lately. This year the kids had a blast trick-or-treating w/ our friends. I would have to say that it's really the first year that the kids understand the concept of knocking on the door and getting treats. Kainoa was so excited about getting candy that he wanted to go home after 2 houses so that he could dig into the goods IMMEDIATELY. I "thought" that I would have one more year to choose Halloween costumes this year...but I was mistaken! The kids had a superhero theme on their minds and Jayden was Spiderman and Kainoa was Captain America. Well let me correct myself because Kainoa had chosen 3 costumes and finally decided on 1. First he wanted to be Batman so I thought I was doing a good thing and bought the costume early. Well after a few days that costume was old news and he didn't want to be that anymore. Then our 2nd costume was Superman but once he realized that brother (Spiderman) had a mask he didn't want to be that anymore. Finally the night before Halloween we had to run to Target to try and find a costume w/ a mask...thank goodness we found Captain America! Since you can't return Halloween costumes the kids now have a few costumes to wear around the house to play "superhero" with.
I've included a couple of pictures of the kids at Bates Nut Farm. They had a good time climbing on and picking up (and dropping) all of the pumpkins. They also rode the minature horses and had a great time. Daddy was in control of the camera during the horse rides so those pictures didn't make it into the camera...boo! He thought he was taking pictures but he wasn't holding down the button long enough. Oh well, guess there's always next year.
Not sure how often I'll update my blog. Look at me I'm all talk because I swear I don't have anything to say. Lord knows I'll probably update this thing every 5 seconds....haa haa. Thanks for taking a peek into my world. Have a wonderful week!

Oh this is perfect, I'm always excited to get any bit of news about my favorite people. So please please blog away. I love the pumpkin patch pictures, those boys are so cute.
Merceds...what a great thing...the boys will grow up having each other! You have afforded them this and I always knew you would be blessed alot in this lifetime....because the all-wise Auntie Amy knows all!!! The forgiveness required, the patience and hope that is necessary and finally ,the love required to make this all happen is only because of YOU...what a great mom you are!!And yes...a great parent DOES lose their mind and gain their soul in raising children!!
